Stacy Barnes, MGS Director
Stacy Barnes joined the Wisconsin Geriatric Education Center
(WGEC) in 2000. She is the Principal Investigator for the WGEC grant
and works on a part-time basis for Marquette University’s College of
Nursing as the WGEC Director.
Ms. Barnes is a social gerontologist with nineteen years of work
experience in the field of aging. She is a fellow of the DHHS
Primary Health Care Policy Fellowship program and holds a Master's
degree in Gerontological Studies from the Scripps Gerontology Center
at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). She is currently pursuing an
interdisciplinary PhD in Social Gerontology at Marquette University.
