Students in Residence

Beginning in Fall 2022, select Marquette University students will be awarded a unique opportunity to live at St. Camillus, a life plan community in Wauwatosa caring for more than 650 older adults and retired Jesuits. This new intergenerational housing program offers students low-cost housing in exchange for volunteering on-site each week, engaging in activities with other residents at St. Camillus.

Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming academic year. Instructions and deadlines can be found on the application form.

Additional Information:

  • Eligible students include anyone currently enrolled full-time at Marquette University with a junior, senior, or graduate standing.
  • Student Residents will pay a reduced rate of $350/month for a studio apartment or $500/month for a 1-bedroom apartment.
  • Student Residents are required to engage with St. Camillus residents a minimum of 8 hours/week.
  • Interview, background check, occupancy agreement, and $500 refundable security deposit are required before move-in.
  • Flu shot, TB skin test, and COVID vaccine are required prior to move-in. Requests for a waiver will be considered.
  • St. Camillus is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is not allowed in your apartment or anywhere on the grounds.
  • No pets allowed.
